Our Goal
Based in Rancho Cucamonga, CA, we are a high school Science Olympiad team that works hard year-round. The main goal of our institution is to help high school students gain a deeper understanding of the sciences found in our everyday lives, not just those traditionally taught in the classroom. Enriching Our Scientific Knowledge
In an effort to gain a better understanding of the world around us, Etiwanda High School's students have taken on Science Olympiad to gain a deeper understanding of sciences not taught traditionally in classrooms. From modeling proteins to building self-flying planes, students challenge themselves, enrich their science backgrounds, and learn about scientific fields that they may choose to pursue as adults. Our students spend countless hours working in a humble classroom known as A-6. In order to showcase their knowledge, students participate in invitational, regional, and state competitions against other schools who participate in Science Olympiad.
SO Culture and Merchandise
Our Science Olympiad team very quickly turns into a family. Students that may have merely seen each other at lunch turn into the closest of friends. The hours our students put into perfecting their work makes them feel like what was once a daunting science classroom has now turned into their second home. Our very own alumni from many years ago still come to visit today. As for merchandise, our students design their sweatshirts, t-shirts, and other items each year. On the backsides of our merchandise, we print out the logos of our generous sponsors.
